English translation of a short story

Here is an english translation of my short story : "The computer scientist priest". The translation is probably pretty loose. Hope you'll like it.

Short story written in collaboration (french)

A long time ago, I wrote a short story with two of my friends.

The idea was than one of us would write a chapter, and then the next one would write the next chapter and so one.

we were totally free to make the story goes in any direction.

We never really finish this project, but the story become so complicated than none of us would really know what was going on anyway.

I guess we'll never know what happens after the two "sponge-shaped alien" came out of there flying saucer during the 1789 French revolution...

Anyway, i publish here all the chapters, it is in french of course. I can't tell exactly who wrote what.

For those who can read french, it is actually quite funny (at least we had a lot of fun writing it.)

Voici une petite nouvelle de science fiction que j'avais en fait commencée il y a plusieurs mois. A la base elle faisait partie d'une saga que je n'ai jamais vraiment finie. Je publierais peut être l'integralité un de ces jours.

The everything machine

I just wrote a small science fiction text that explains how we could create a machine that grants any wish.

It is based on the quantum suicide experiment. In short : We exist in many universes, and only the ones where we are alive are to be considered real.
So if we can program a machine to kill us if we don't get the things we want, then we would be sure to get it, because only the reality branches where our wishes have been granted become real.

Such a machine could be use to win at gambling for example, or to become the ruler of the planet.

And this time, I wrote in English.

(Note to not French speaking people : I am sorry all my novels are written in French, That's the only language I know enough to use when doing literacy.
Maybe, maybe, in the future I could try to write something in English. But let face it : much of my friends are French and I would actually be amazed if more than 3 people read my work :-( )
